Simple Halloween Cocktail

Have you ever made a Dark n’ Stormy cocktail? If not, you need to try it for Halloween! Even the name lends itself to a fun signature party drink.

This simple recipe is delicious and refreshing with just a few ingredients. Set up a Halloween bar and let guests make it themselves, or serve it for a Halloween dinner party before the meal.

It’s even great for a ladies night in witch themed party.

3 Ingredients

Here’s all you need in order to make this quick and easy recipe.

  • Lime. Squeeze fresh lime juice, about 1/4 cup, for each drink.
  • Dark rum. Dark rum gives this drink a sweet richness that’s perfect for fall parties.
  • Ginger beer. This adds intense ginger flavor. You can substitute with ginger ale for a milder flavor.

Add the lime juice and rum into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass with spider ice cubes and top off with ginger drink.

PARTY TIP: You can garnish the rim of the glass using a lime wedge and black rimming sugar too, if you like.

Spider Ice Cubes

Make the spooky ice by adding one or two plastic spiders to an ice tray or ice mold. Fill the wells with water and freeze until solid.
