I am in love with the mis-matched placemats and utensils, not to mention all the colored glass jars and votive holders. The flowers are stunning and it’s all back-dropped perfectly by an old rustic door-turned-table. Everyone has an old door lying around, right?! If not, buy a new one from the home improvement store and paint & distress it to look old. It would certainly make a great conversation piece.
Use these ideas for a special birthday dinner party or shower luncheon and make your guests feel warm and welcome!
BTW, if you’re looking for ideas to keep the kids busy the rest of the summer then head over to Design Dazzle for a whole series called Summer Camp. Toni has a big line-up of guest bloggers (including yours truly) who share ideas and tutorials for activities you can do with the kids. Happy Planning!
