A sparkling peach margarita is a delightful departure from the classic flavor. Serve it all summer long when entertaining, or add it to your Mexican party ideas. The combination of flavors and a bit of fizz make this drink great for festive occasions.

I love a good margarita. I love that it’s not too sweet and it goes down easy. It’s fun to switch it up though, and create a whole NEW kind of margarita. That’s what I did for this delicious and refreshing peach cocktail, and it’s fabulous for summer parties.

Prosecco Margarita

I created a margarita recipe that takes the classic concept of tequila and citrus juice, and turns it into something special with peach juice and prosecco.

Try this drink for a Mexican fiesta happy hour with appetizers, or a peach theme garden party ladies luncheon. Wouldn’t that be fun!

You can make up a pitcher beforehand and serve it as your signature cocktail during the party. The color and flavor are right in theme!

Ingredients

Tequila. Use good quality clear tequila, also known as Blanco. Some of my favorite brands are Casamigos and Hornitos.
Peach nectar. You can find this in cans in the Mexican food section, or in a bottle in the juice aisle. Nectar is a little thicker and usually has some sweetener added. You can use peach juice if you can’t find the nectar.
Lemon. Fresh fruit always gives you the best flavor of juice. Cut it into wedges to squeeze into the drink.
Prosecco. Sparkling wine adds effervescence and a delicious twist to a classic margarita.
