Baby Shower Dessert Parfaits
A delicious and adorable baby shower dessert parfait that’s perfect for your celebration. Layers of moist cake, crunchy cookies, and creamy cheesecake served in baby food jars! This easy recipe uses convenient ingredients for the busy hostess.
It’s a great idea to coordinate your food, especially dessert, with your baby shower theme. And it’s easy to do when you serve dessert parfaits in baby food jars!
It’s a great way to bring in a “baby” element without having it take over the party. These parfaits are easy to put together and are light and delicious.
Quick Tip
You can purchase real baby food in jars to use for this. I suggest buying fruit varieties that you will actually eat. Either way, you can wash the empty jars to use for these parfaits.
Ingredients
- Prepared Yellow Cake
- Pecan Sandies Cookies
- No-Bake Cheesecake filling, prepared
- Whipped Cream Frosting
- Sugared Pecans for garnish
- Small baby food jars, labels removed and cleaned
How to Make It
- Break up cake into small pieces and place into jar for the first layer. Crumble up 1 cookie and make it the second layer. Add cheesecake filling for 3rd layer, then more cake on top. Finish it off with the whipped cream frosting and a sugared pecan.
- Place these in the refrigerator, loosely covered, overnight so the flavors blend.
Alternative
- 1 package No-Bake cheesecake mix
- 1 container whipped topping
- food coloring
- Prepared white cake
- Berries – blueberries or raspberries according to your color scheme
- M&M’s candies
Prepare the no-bake cheesecake (filling only) as directed, then mixed in a container of whip topping. Break up prepared white cake and began layering the cake with the filling and berries, ending with filling as top layer. Top with an m&m.

- 1 Yellow Cake, unfrosted
- 1 package Pecan Sandies Cookies
- 1 package No-Bake Cheesecake filling, prepared
- 1 can Whipped Cream Frosting
- Sugared Pecans
Instructions
- Break up cake into small pieces and place into jars for the first layer.
- Crumble up 1 cookie for each jar and make it the second layer.
- Add cheesecake filling for 3rd layer, then more cake on top.
- Finish it off with the whipped cream frosting (using a pastry bag for a pretty swirl) and top with a sugared pecan.
- Place these in the refrigerator, loosely covered, for at least 2 hour or overnight so the flavors develop.
