Sweet Tart Cocktail Recipe

This sweet tart cocktail recipe with Chambord and Gin tastes like the classic candy! It’s a delicious and refreshing drink with only 3 ingredients. Mix up this pretty drink for parties or girls night in.

I created this with Chambord and gin and it’s the perfect blend of sweetness and tartness. It absolutely tastes like those Sweet Tart candies, and it may just be my favorite drink for spring parties.

The Taste

A single sip sort of hits you in waves, much like the candies do. First you get a sour note from the lime before getting a hint of sweetness from the raspberry liqueur. The result is a drink that’s really refreshing and whimsical, and leaves you wanting more.

I’ve mentioned many times that I don’t like cocktails that are overly sweet. This one hits the mark, making it perfect to pair with some happy hour appetizers or to serve before dinner.

The drink is a bright orange color so it would make a pretty signature party drink if you host a ladies luncheon or if you’re hosting Easter brunch. So why not set up a tray with the ingredients and tools you need to shake up this tasty beverage.

If you like cocktails made with Gin you’ll want to make this Elderflower gin fizz cocktail or a grapefruit rosemary gin fizz. My gin & ginger liqueur cocktail is also great.
