This dinner party table will wow your guests with the attention to detail. It’s a fun festive party idea using balloons in a chic way.
The black, white, and gold color combo is classic and celebratory, and works well for Christmas, New Years Eve, or a winter birthday!

Black and Gold Table Setting
I can see these gold balloons placed in the center of this celebration table with floor seating, can’t you? Or how about adding black or white balloons to this black & white celebration tabletop? The possibilities are endless!
You can rework and reuse pieces you already have. It’s always about how you layer and combine those pieces that make the end result unique.
Speaking of re-working an idea, you can see an original black, white & silver table with balloons I created a while back.

Sparkling glassware and festive paper crowns add more drama to the table. The crowns are great for photo ops and selfies!
Expert Tips
Start with the right size balloons for your table and space. You don’t want to use oversize balloons if your table is small, or they can overpower the design.
I find that 12 to 18 inches can work for most homes. They make an impact with minimal effort.
If you use 9 or 10 inch balloons, you’ll need to use more to create the look. You can also stagger the heights with these smaller sizes.

You’ll need one balloon for every foot-length of the table. For a 6-foot table you would have 6 balloons.

Tie the balloons with thin ribbon and weigh them down with mini ornament place card holders, small stones or other weighted objects.

A row of balloons down the center of the table adds height and interest so there’s no need for a large flower arrangement. Placed mini rose-filled vases on the table instead.

Match your Christmas tree décor with the dining room table setting for a beautifully coordinated look.

Love it Chris! I wondered how you kept the balloons from floating! I thought you may have used sand! Water is a great alternative!
I thought about sand too, but water was definitely easier 😉
I love the fact that you used minimum colours & they definitely add elegance! The balloons are just brilliant. Great ideas.
