You can round out this menu with crudites in veggie dip bread cups and a chocolate & cheese dessert board for a complete and well-rounded “meal.” Serve ice cold beverages in an ice bucket – beer for the adults and soft drinks for the kids.
Saucy Cocktail Kielbasa Medallions
- 2 (14 oz) packages turkey kielbasa, cut into 1/4-inch medallions + 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 jar (18 ounces) red plum jam
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Add olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium. Add sausage medallions when pan and oil are hot and cook on each side to achieve a caramelized look. Remove to a paper towel to pat dry any residual oil.
Meanwhile, in a medium sauce pan heat jam and mustard over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally until mixture is combined and smooth.
Add kielbasa medallions and continue to heat through, about 10-15 minutes.
Transfer to a chafing dish or slow cooker to keep warm while entertaining.
