Pink party ideas abound with this inspiration and party plan including decor, recipes, and tips.
Everyone knows that October is breast cancer awareness month. Pink Parties are encouraged as a way to raise money and/or awareness. I was honored to work with Estroven again this year {see last years Pink Party for Breast Cancer awareness here}, to create “Sleep Pink” party ideas that are perfect for a girls night in celebration.
I used some of my favorite gold and pink items for entertaining, like vintage gold trimmed cocktail glasses, pink depression glass coups, modern gold dotted salad plates, and gold flatware. You can gather inspiration for ANY pink party theme whether it’s a bridal shower, birthday party, mother’s day luncheon, or other celebration.
Below is the overall design, with more pink party ideas and instructions on the Sleep Pink site {link above}, and I’ll also do some more detailed posts here as time permits. The complete party includes a seated table, dessert table, appetizers, lunch menu, drink recipes, favors, and diy gifts or activities to do during the party.

Pink table setting
- As mentioned, pink and white with gold accents drives the design. Gold polka dot rimmed salad plates work beautifully layered with gold chargers and classic white dinner plates.
- My gold flatware set, vintage gold-embellished glasses, and a muted gold vase complete the Midas touch.
- The pink depression glass coups look so feminine and pretty in this setting. The centerpiece is a mixed bouquet of roses, tulips, carnations, hydrangeas, and spider mums.
- The back wall is decorated with a flower garland, and each chair has a mini flag garland hanging on the back.
- Favor boxes double as place cards, and are made from a large match box wrapped in scrapbook paper and ribbon. Inside, guests find pink and gold nail polish to match the occasion.

Pink dessert table
- Pink treats fill the table: mini cheesecakes topped with strawberries, pink and white parfaits, pink macarons, cupcakes, and pink champagne.
- Use an egg dish to hold macarons for an unexpected display.
- Bring in golden accents by lining a plate with glittery gold scrapbook paper, using a gold tray, making gold flag cupcake toppers, and putting out gold foiled chocolates.
- Add a splash of decor above by hanging an empty frame and hanging a ribbon swag across.

Party food
Serve easy appetizers for girls night in.
- I love to set up different areas with appetizers. It keeps the traffic flowing as guests check out each selection. I set up my mirrored table with pink lemonade, ham-wrapped asparagus, and cranberry & nut baked brie.
- The food is chosen for their pinkish hue in keeping with our theme. Round it out with pecans and white cheddar cheese.
These appetizers are light enough and complement the main menu. Serve this easy chicken quiche with a green salad for a meal that won’t weigh you down.
There’s still a lot more to see from this party, including pink salt scrub favors, raspberry champagne float cocktail, and strawberry hot chocolate shots.
Cheers!
