Perfect Chemistry Bridal Shower

I admit Chemistry was undoubtedly my weakest subject in both high school and college, but seeing this bridal shower on Style Me Pretty, with it’s science theme, helps me to see that it does have its redeeming qualities. With such props to work with as beakers, test tubes, the periodic table of elements, and graph charts, this “Perfect Chemistry” bridal shower has all the makings of a very stylish event. Designed by Bunch Studio and captured by Alders Photography this shower is full of flair from decor to activities.

The tabletop is set with a brown tablecloth so that the blue details stand out against it. A runner is made from graph and ruled paper and topped with books and flowers, and test tube holders. One of my favorite things is the beverages served from large beakers.

The science theme continues with a signature cocktail or bloody mary served in smaller beakers, as well as individual sized dessert parfaits…

To further carry out the theme of the day, the guests were instructed to mix up their own scented bath salt in a test tube. The display as well as the idea itself is just amazing and I imagine received rave reviews from the guests.

Finally, each person was asked to write down a “love potion” for the couple – words of advice, well wishes, or prayers for a happy marriage.

I hope you got some great ideas for your next bridal shower. Some of these ideas could also work for a back-to-school party or even halloween.

Happy party planning!

Where did you find the chemistry glassware? I’ve looked online but I just keep finding labarotory equipment companies and it’s a little pricey! Any help?
