A Modern Housewarming Party

I am loving this bright, bold, & modern Housewarming Party designed by Jessica of Modern Moments Designs. Jessica joined forces with photographer (and friend) Courtney Jade to create an eye-catching food & beverage display for Courtney’s housewarming. The theme, “Welcome to our Little Nest” also shares ideas appropriate for a baby shower or adult birthday. They combined sweets & savories on one table, which is a great idea to save space, and money when you don’t want to go overboard on a dessert table. The presentation of everything is just perfection!

One of my favorite items on the table is the individual ceasar salads with parmasan crisps on top. They even made the crisps in the shape of a heart! Other savories included pita chips + hummus, and individual shot glasses with veggies + dip.

On the sweet side, the ladies displayed macarons, lemon cupcakes, assorted candies, and heart-shaped lemon bars made by Courtney. They served lemonade and water with colored sugar-rimmed glasses and stripey straws. The bold color combination of purple, green, and yellow + the modern paper designs pull everything together.
