Ginger Lemon Cocktail with Vodka

Serve this ginger lemon cocktail for your next ladies night gathering, or cocktail party.

Ginger spiced lemon cocktail

I love holiday entertaining. Too bad it’s not a year-round thing, with cookie parties, gift exchange parties, wrapping parties, etc. One thing’s for sure though, when you host a party you must serve a signature cocktail that fits the theme, right?!

This ginger spiced lemon cocktail is the perfect signature drink to serve when you’re getting together with your girlfriends this season. When it’s a small-ish group I like to have a spot set up to shake up individual martini cocktails. I don’t know what it is, but the ritual of shaking and pouring drinks using a cocktail shaker is just so fun!

I decided to create a cocktail using the Tropicana Tangerine Lemonade because I think lemon is a terrific year-round flavor, and the hint of tangerine adds depth with a holiday spin. Plus, the golden color works perfectly for any celebration!

Ginger Spiced Lemon Cocktail

  • 2-3 ounces prepared Lemonade
  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce Ginger liqueur
  • Club Soda, chilled

In a cocktail shaker add some ice, Lemonade, vodka, and ginger liqueur. Place lid on top and shake for about 5-8 seconds to mix.

Strain into martini glass and add a splash of club soda.

Garnish with a slice of star fruit or lemon.

My ginger spiced lemon martini is lightly sweetened and the ginger liqueur gives it that holiday spice. The addition of club soda at the end gives a nice sparkle to the cocktail, which I love. Garnish with a sliced star fruit for the cutest presentation that compliments your decor.

TIP: When setting up a home bar for a holiday party, pour juice mixers into a pitcher for serving.
