Easy Iced Coffee in a Blender
Don’t you just love those iced coffee drinks you pay a lot of money for at the fancy shops? Well, I’ve created my own version at home with the help of flavored coffee creamer, ice cream, and a blender. And it is delicious!
This recipe is refreshing and just what you need on a hot afternoon as a little pick-me-up. You could say it’s the frozen dessert version of your morning coffee.
Frozen Iced Coffee with Ice Cream
This recipe is part drink and part dessert. You might even classify it as a coffee shake!
However you want to label it, it’s just plain delicious! Ice cream is the key to making it thick and satisfying. And if you want to make it even thicker you can add an extra scoop in the blender before mixing.
Alternatively, you can add an extra scoop of ice cream to the glass and then pour the iced coffee mixture over it. Serve it with a spoon and a straw.
How to Make Iced Coffee at Home

- It’s easy to double or triple the recipe ingredients to serve more guests when you’re entertaining.
- Substitute instant espresso for the instant coffee, for an extra kick.
- You can certainly substitute the regular ice cream with non-dairy ice cream.
- Our recipe calls for vanilla ice cream but you can experiment with other flavors like coffee ice cream or chocolate ice cream.

There are a multitude of coffee creamer brands to use in this recipe. I’ve used both International Delight as well as Coffee mate. In general, International Delight usually has more flavors to choose from in my specific location.
