Fiesta-themed Engagement Party
You’ll love this fiesta themed engagement party! Get inspired to celebrate the newly engaged couple with a dressed-up Mexican theme.

Cinco de Mayo will be here before you know it, but if you ask me, any time is a great time for a Fiesta! Case in point, this fantastic Fiesta themed Engagement party photographed and sent to us by Ashley dePencier Photography in Southern California.
Everything about this party spells “FUN” from the chic table decor and colorful streamers, to the gold glitter accents and chalkboard signage.Â
This party brings together two seemingly unrelated elements – Mexican themed items and gold glitter – but they come together perfectly to create a unique and festive celebration thanks to Mint Design.

Table Decor
Design a table setting with Mexican serape combined with a gold sequined runner to elevate the theme for an engagement celebration.
Use succulents and table lanterns to fill out the centerpiece decor.

Notice the sign-in table with cutouts attached with clothes pins that can be used as drink markers – mustaches for the guys and lips for the girls.

Drink Table Decor
Say ‘cheers’ with a champagne bar decked out with more gold sequins, framed table signs, and fringe banner.

You’ll also want to serve margaritas, of course. Set up a separate bar for delicious cocktails. You can also include red sangria or peach sangria.

Taco Bar
You’ll also see a fabulous taco bar with glitter banner and individual bags of tortilla chips, just like you’d find at Mexican grills.

Colorful Mexican sodas do double duty as decor and a refreshing drink.

Sweets Table
Set up a dessert table with an array of cookies and paper sacks to put them in. Order custom cookies for the couple.

Create a welcome sign on the front door with a frame and printed sign.

Photo Booth
Create fun photo opportunities with cutout props and DIY photo booth.
Hang a colorful banner for a backdrop and use empty frames as an accent.

Everything looks so perfect. Beautiful and elegant!
I love this theme!! So cute. I especially love the el pato cans with flowers. Everything was so creative. I can’t wait to do this theme for my next party. Who doesn’t love Mexican food.
I love the “Key Pieces” list at the end of your post – it really ties everything together in a very useful way – thank you! Plus the theme was fabulous – I never would have thought to put the gold glitter accents with the Fiesta – wow!
Oh, good. I’m glad that was helpful. I’m such a list maker. It always makes things seem much simpler when listed out. 🙂
I love everything about this, especially that “Sweets” banner!
I love the fiesta theme with the glittery twist – so unexpected and fun!
Exactly – who knew!
