BBQ Chicken Pizza
A classic combination of toppings make this bbq chicken pizza a flavorful option for pizza night. Ready-made ingredients make it quick and easy to prepare!

Add this crowd pleasing recipe to a pizza party, or a game day party, even a kids party. Everyone loves the taste of barbecue chicken and cheddar cheese, and starting with refrigerator dough means there’s more time to set up a fun atmosphere, or make a sweet dessert like homemade fudge brownies.
Pizza is always a go-to meal, especially for laid back entertaining. You can change up the toppings each time, and it’s easy when you start with a convenient pizza dough.

Notes
Refrigerated pizza dough is the perfect canvas for your favorite toppings. I use Pillsbury dough in the tube, and this time I tried the gluten free version in a tub. It tasted great and is a good choice if you’re hosting someone who can’t eat gluten but still loves pizza.
- It’s a good idea to let the gluten free dough sit at room temperature for 10 or 15 minutes so that it rolls out easier. Make sure to roll it out so the edges are a little thicker than the middle.
My go-to for pizza is thin crust, but this one works really well on a thicker hand-tossed style, too. I also use flatbread often for pizza crust, as it makes individual serving sizes.
For the shredded chicken, I use the breast meat from a rotisserie to save time. You could cook your own if you like.
Choose your favorite bbq sauce to use here, from sweet and spicy to smoky, there’s a taste for everyone.
After you chop the red onion you can soak it in warm water for about 10 minutes to help remove the bite and make it a more mild.

If you’re hosting a pizza party, here are three unique pizza combinations to try. And here’s another quick and easy pizza uses pantry ingredients for delicious gourmet flavor.
As a family, we love pizza night and making our own feels like a fun activity. The kids love to get involved and help top them, especially this bbq chicken pizza.
