What To Wear 4th Of July

These outfit ideas are perfect for an array of 4th of July parties and celebrations this summer.

As you may know, my education and background is in fashion and I consider it one of my top 3 interest along with entertaining and home decorating. I love looking at and creating these fashion style boards on Pinterest.

Since most people will be planning some sort of outing for the 4th of July, I thought it would be fun to share some fashion ideas and what to wear for different party occasions. Here are some of the cute pieces I found. 

What to Wear to a July 4th Backyard BBQ

A backyard bbq is probably the most casual party you’ll attend. The food and activities could range from burgers to clam bakes, and horseshoes to corn hole. You want to be comfortable and cool!

These pieces are cotton so they breath, and the red and blue, mixed with stars and stripes turns these outfits into festive attire. Don’t forget the shades and a hat! These outfits are perfect for our backyard bbq party.

What to Wear to a Pool Party

So maybe you’re going to hang out at a pool party or the beach instead. Look like a fashionista simply by donning a swimsuit in red or blue.

Add some stripes in the form of accessories, and a sassy cover up that takes you from the water to the tiki bar.

Casual 4th of July Dinner Party

For some of you it may be later in the day when you plan your activity, or you may be attending a more dressed up affair. I love to throw on an easy, breezy sundress for these occasions.

More stripes and red, white, and blue color palette turn an ordinary outfit into a festive one. You’ll need sunglasses at the end of the day too, when the sun is low in the sky. This outfit blends right in at the 4th of July dinner party table.
