Easter Tablescape with Hadley Pottery

A traditional Easter table with Hadley Pottery for all you collectors! We’re showing you how to incorporate this spring collection into Easter brunch, along with recipes to include in your menu.

These ideas will get you ready to host Easter at home with your favorite set of pottery.

Traditional Holiday Table Setting

I’m excited to share this tablescape incorporating Hadley Pottery. These patterns are collectibles for many families so we’re putting them into an Easter brunch setting.

The tradition is to mix and match patterns in their classic blue & creamy white dishes, so that’s what we did. Using some of the most classic patterns like the house, and blooms, we incorporated some Easter/Spring patterns like the bunny, sheep, and duck to set the table.

I wanted to stay true to the traditional style of the dishes so I placed a burlap runner, flowers, and classic Easter decorations, down the center of the table.

Centerpiece Decorations

Display neutral toned speckled eggs from the craft store under a glass cloche. Add tiny ceramic bunny figurines around the table.

A bundle of flowers from the grocery store fills small vases and adds life to the table.

I wanted to bring in another color to add dimension to the overall design. These colored glass vases work well as green represents spring so well.

Place Settings

Since the patterns are so distinct I didn’t want to hide them under a lavish place setting. I simply layered each plate on a woven charger, with it’s coordinating coffee cup & saucer. I love the inside bottom of the cups that say “The End”.

Coordinating pieces like salt & pepper shakers, and a butter dish adds more interest to the table. They also become a decorative aspect of the centerpiece.

Table Favors

Make table favors part of the decor. Stack pretty boxes so guests can take one home.

Fill them with green filler and Jordan almonds. I simply wrapped the outside of the box with scrapbook paper to match the table setting colors.

Set up a buffet table to hold things like coffee, fruit, and the cake. This makes it easy for guests to grab seconds.

Easter Buffet

  • The main dish for this Easter brunch is my ham and cheese breakfast casserole. Prep it ahead and bake in the morning before guests arrive.
  • A fruit salad and sparkling fruit punch round out the main meal. The punch can be made as a mocktail or a cocktail to suit your needs.
  • Place donut holes in an egg dish on the table. It’s a cute way to serve them for the Easter theme, and they fit perfectly in the small compartments!
  • To end on a sweet note, serve this fluffy white layer cake for dessert. It has pineapple infusions that make it light and delicious!
