Today I’m teaming up with some other bloggers for a Spring blog hop, and for my part I thought I would put together a simple Spring Garden tablescape that you can use for Easter or any Spring entertaining. I didn’t buy anything new for this table and it just goes to show how much you can pull together in a moments notice, and using what you have on hand.
Check out my tips and photos below and then visit the rest of the participating bloggers {see full list at bottom}.
Spring Garden Tablescape for Easter
-
I went with an eclectic mix of items but kept the overall feel of the outdoors using a moss runner and butterflies.
-
Adding neutral toned eggs brings in an Easter element, although they are also appropriate for any Spring theme.
-
Easter tags are tied around egg cups for each place setting. You could also tie around name tags instead.
-
Mix and match china patterns give the table personality and touch of nostalgia.
-
I put together a quick centerpiece using hydrangeas, a tiered wire stand, more moss and eggs. A couple of nests are added {one placed on a silver dish}, and a sugar bowl filled with Jelly Beans.
-
Butterflies are one of the recurring elements and they are placed in flowers, jelly beans, and on top of eggs & nests.

I adore these china patterns! And you’re right, a butterfly martini would be perfect on this table. 🙂

Beautiful Chris and are those vintage teacups I see?
Chris says
Thanks, Elizabeth. Some are vintage and some are reproductions. I used to collect them and have them on display but when I changed my home decor to “contemporary” they went into storage. It’s nice to see them out again : )
