Setting Up A Popcorn Bar

A quick bit of info before I get into today’s post. As you know I’m working closely with Homes.com this year {a great fit since “home entertaining” happens at “home”- duh} and tomorrow evening {Thursday, Feb. 21, at 8pm EST} they’ll be hosting a chat on CREATIVE WAYS TO SAVE MONEY – something we can all benefit from in these economic times. Kari of Newlyweds on a Budget will be co-hosting the chat on Twitter, so join in by following hash tag #HomeChat and get tips on creative ways to save.

Do you get as excited as I do about watching the Hollywood awards shows? It’s like Super Bowl for women, and the real highlight of the night is the red carpet of course – oh yeah, and you get to see who wins best picture, actor, and actress, etc. I’ve always thought it would be fun to host a ladies night or small gathering to share the experience, toast each other with champagne, and play our own little version of Fashion Police. And if I ever do end up hosting such an evening you can bet I’ll be setting up a Popcorn Bar similar to this! Read More….
