Thanksgiving Word Search Printable
Free Thanksgiving word search printable to add to your table setting. Guests can find themed words going up and down, and across.
Incorporate these word search cards into your Thanksgiving table setting. It’s a fun activity that guests can do while they wait for the meal to finish cooking.
How to Use It
Admittedly, the flair comes from the styling of these printable cards. All you need to do is add a few seasonal touches.
- Use a tiny hole punch to create a set of holes about 1/4-inch apart. Loop a thin ribbon or string through, and tie on a cute pencil such as these twig pencils I found.
- You could also place a pencil on the side and push a stem of dried wheat through the holes for a pretty decorative touch.
- Place the cards on the table next to each place setting and simply set a small pinecone, fall leaf, or mini pumpkin on top.
- Add a stack of the Thanksgiving word search cards in a small basket so guests can grab one as they like. Put a container of pencils next to the basket.

- Print it on heavy duty paper in a light color such as white, cream or a light hue that coordinates with your table decoration. That way the black text will show up easily.
- Cut along the lines for a fun activity card you can give to each guest.

Oh my…what wonderful ideas that made such a unique and interesting place setting. I LOVE IT!!! Ohhh the wishbone…what an awesome “touch”. That brought back some childhood memories of my sister and I pulling on it and hoping we would be the one to get the wish. Thank you for that!!!! I’m going to borrow your word game and take it to my sister’s. We always love to play games after we clear away the Thanksgiving meal (that would be the food and the table..hehe) and this would be a fun one to start with. Again, THANK YOU!!
Happy SITS Saturday,
Regi
Very pretty and easy. thanks for sharing.
Love the wishbones! Hmmmm maybe I can still get them in time? 🙂
Thank you for sharing. This gives me some ideas for our table.
I love the combination of metallic and rustic. Gold chargers are a table setting staple, as they dress up the place setting, with the other elements being able to give a formal or simple theme to the overall setting; why I choose to make that gold charger purchase years ago. And TJMaxx…love that store. I can always find something there and for VERY reasonable prices! Your simple selections have given me some things to consider incorporating in our table settings this year. Blessings & a wonderful Thanksgiving Day to your family!
