Cheesecake In A Jar

cheesecake in a jar

Hmmm, how many different types of treats can we put in a jar? We’ve seen cupcakes in a jar, molten lava cakes in a jar, pie in a jar….and now Cheesecake in a Jar! This is just one more way to get creative with no-bake cheesecake. These 4 oz canning jars are the perfect vessel for serving up this creamy layered dessert. They would look nice stacked or bundled together on a dessert table, or placed at each individual place setting.

  • All you need to do is add the graham cracker crust layer, the no-bake cheesecake, and top with your choice or a variety of toppings. Cherry, strawberry, lemon, or blueberry pie filling all make great toppers and can be color coordinated to a red, yellow, or blue/purple party. Just make sure there is plenty of room to add the lid.
  • Dress up the jar by adding a whimsical printed tag that says “Let them eat {cheese}cake!” and tie with bakers twine.

If you’d like the printable tag below, just right click and save to your computer and then you can print it out.

  1. Hi Chris,
I made your cheesecake in a jar for gifts for Christmas last year. Everyone loved them. I decorated the tops with Christmas ribbon. They were adorable. However, I lost the issue of woman’s world that they were in. I was hoping you could send me the recipe. Thank you.

    1. Hi Gail, I don’t know anything about the WW mag issue. All I did was use no-bake cheesecake mix from a box {as stated above}. It’s all about the cute presentation! 🙂

  2. I need help my husband is currently deployed and his favorite dessert in Cheesecake. I want to know if cheesecake in jar will make it oversea. Please help

    1. Pauline, this would definitely NOT make it over seas. The cheesecake is perishable so it would spoil in route.

    1. Susan, I would have to guess since I used one prepared mix for several different projects. At least 16 I would say.
