Budget Friendly Kids Christmas Table
Yesterday I was a guest blogger over on A Blissful Nest and shared ideas for a budget friendly kids table for Christmas. Here are even more details of the table with a list of $1 items I used. Creating a kid’s table on a budget is easy when you start with traditional colors, use some basic items you already own, and fill in with cute inexpensive details. Maybe you have just enough time to get something like this together for the weekend!
Itemized List:
- Glitter Chrismas trees centerpiece – $1 each – Target
- Letters to Santa – $1 each from Michael’s
- Snowflake “plate charger” – $1 each at Dollar Tree
- Mini Gingerbread houses – $1 each at Dollar Tree
- Swirly Candy Canes – 2 for $1 at Dollar Tree
- Felt Stockings – $1 each from Target
- Gingerbread House ornaments {to embellish stockings} – $1 for 6 at Dollar Tree
- To fill in the table I added a mini chalkboard, my red and white dishes, a paper mache mailbox {painted & wrapped with scrapbook paper}, and a “wrapped present” wall hanging using fabric and wribbon I had on hand.
You can create you own adorable budget-friendly kids table using these ideas. The notes to Santa can also be used to write “Thank You” notes after receiving their Christmas lute from him, and the mailbox can be used again at Valentine’s Day. The kids will be excited to sit here for a kids party, Christmas breakfast, or dinner.
