Birthday Cocktail Party

Monique of Enchanted Expectations is one of my oldest blogging buddies – old as in ‘long time’, not ‘old’ ; )
She designs parties in the Baltimore area, and recently hosted her own cocktail gathering before a night out with friends to celebrate her birthday.  She always uses great color combinations and pretty paper details.  Her appetizer display is modern and fun with a Mexican gumbo served in asian spoons, and tomato soup shooters.  The centerpiece does double duty holding heart-felt notes she wrote to each of her friends.  She also gave each friend a small gift housed in pretty boxes and bags.  I just love the colorful rosettes hanging above the favor table!  You can see more on Monique’s blog, as well as some of her other parties.
