Lemon Yellow Theme Bridal Shower

Since this has been such a mild winter it feels completely “normal” to be sharing a pretty citrusy-yellow shower design that will bring visions of Spring to mind. Start planning now and you could create a shower as lovely as this for your next expectant mom or bride to be. This inspiration shoot was created by Paras Events and looks like a real party I would want to sit down and be a guest at. With yellow and white as the base colors they’ve set an inviting table full of drool-worthy treats, and contemporary styling. See the full list of vendors at the bottom and check out all the pretty little touches below…

  • A mix of fabrics are used to create custom napkins, fabric chair backs, and a table runner
  • Bistro tables and chairs are lined up to create one long table and adds a traditional garden party feel.
  • White peonies and yellow craspedia {aka ‘billy balls’} are placed in mason jars down the length of the table – always the perfect centerpiece choice.
  • Mini boxes of popcorn are set at each place setting as well as flip top bottles of lemonade, and personalized menu cards {doubles as place card}.
  • An incredible display of desserts includes cupcake tea cups, lemon cookies, filigree cake pops, lemon shortbread, French macaroons, coconut cakes and mouse served in stemed glasses.
  • Beautiful paper items are coordinated and seen throughout the party in menus, food tags, “drink me” tags on flip top bottles, and of course stationery items like invitations and thank you cards.

  • Other details included iced tea and lemonade displayed in large dispensers on top of inverted galvanized containers. Extra bottles of lemonades were placed in a bucket of ice.
  • A few vintage items are added to the decor to impart charm and interest to the otherwise modern design.
  • The perfect favor for this lemon yellow party are bags of lemon drops for each guest to take home.

This is an absolutely gorgeous shower design that has lots of great inspiration. You may notice that nothing here is out of reach for most people: 3 coordinating fabrics can be cut with pinking shears to create table runners, chair covers, and napkins; a few tea pots and cake stands add vintage charm; “yellow” and “white” dessert items can be bought from the grocer, a specialty bakery, or homemade; white & yellow flowers of any variety can be used in your centerpiece.
