If you’re a fellow “creative” you know how you have your favorite projects, whether it’s a theme you loved working on, or some fantastic original idea, or great photography, etc. Well, right now this is mine. I loved designing this retro style “Recipe for Love” bridal shower for Celebrations several months back, and I’m sharing the photo highlights with you today.
It all started when I found the yellow vintage rolling cart on a thrift store hunt. From that, I knew I wanted to style this with classic “diner” food {in mini versions}, and finding the retro style soup cans at Target was a bonus which I couldn’t wait to incorporate into the design. To top it all off, I think the photography turned out pretty well for this self-taught “photographer.” I love taking my own photos and have become a little obsessed with improving the quality so they’re print worthy {if you’re a fellow stylist/blogger and want me to do a post about some of the tips I’ve learned along the way, leave a comment and let me know}.
If you’re not a “creative” in the biz, I hope you’ll find inspiration and ideas in this theme. The full details can be found here, but first check out the overall look….

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHARE & PIN Celebrations At Home IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE HERE.

Just lovely. I would love to see a post about some of the tips you have learned for photgraphing your styles! I do ok, but am always looking for technique help.
Thanks!
Oh my love!!! This display is genius! I adore all the vintage/retro-ish touches. My mom recently passed down my great grand mothers recipe book to my little sister, your display makes me think of it and all the wonderful memories it brings us. So creative, you totally rocked it!

Oooh I love this bridal shower theme SO much! And the best part is, you could bundle up all the utensils later and gift those to her too. I mean, we can never have enough utensils
The bar cart was a SCORE! We need to go flea market shopping together! Loved this, and yes, please do a post on photography 101. xo

Thank You! Thank you all!
Really cute ideas!!! I love the theme.
Taking the kitchen feel and putting outside is an interesting idea. The whole theme is helped quite a bit by the diner food, and furniture to boot. A classic cookbook with classic food, what a great vibe!
