Green Garden Bridal Shower {Guest Feature}

I’ve been wanting to share this beautiful bridal shower shoot for quite some time, and I think the rustic look of it is great for this time of year. Created by The Wedding Chicks and photographed by Lane Dittoe, the DIY details are gorgeous and unexpected. Old books and book pages are used in several interesting ways

Some of my favorite uses for books:

  • The open book which holds photos on display.
  • Ripped pages used to back hang tags.
  • Utensils are wrapped with a book page and then wrapped with a napkin.
  • Bottle is topped off with a torn page and tied with jute twine.

Another fantastic idea incorporated here is the use of an old window as a drinks table. This one was propped on top of a bird bath but for more stability you could just set it on top of a table.

Of course the use of burlap and all the green plants and herbs creates a very tranqual design. Even the guests get a small potted plant as a favor.

I hope you’ve gotten some great ideas for your own showers and celebrations. Happy party planning!

  3. This is beautiful. The green and white makes for such a serene and peaceful view. I especially like the mini paper lanterns and the old book pages as labels.
