Love Birds Bridal Shower

Get ready for a YUMMY and ADORABLE party feature today as I share this “Love Birds” Bridal Shower sent to me by Jen and Karis of The Sunshine Party Studio. Nesting themes and Bird themes are always popular for bridal and baby showers and this one is loaded with great ideas you can implement.

With lots of DIY projects + decorative elements like rustic moss, burlap, tree branches, and bird cages, everything is displayed beautifully from savories, to sweets, to activity stations. Read on for all the details…

Could this food buffet be any more inviting?!! I love all the clever display tricks they incorporated. Here are some of my favorite ideas from the buffet:

  • Boxes used as risers are covered in sheet moss.
  • Clever skewers of pigs in a blanket + cherry tomatoes are nestled into faux grass mats {skewers are inserted into a hidden foam base}.
  • Serving trays are filled with moss as a base to the platters of food.
  • A fabulous way to serve “deconstructed” bruschetta – small cups or shot glasses filled with the topping + toasted baguettes.
  • Wood pedestals are created with cut branches and logs.
  • A gorgeous floral focal point is created in the center with a flower-filled bird cage + smaller arrangements surrounding.

On the equally charming dessert table:

  • The hanging swag on the branch is my favorite detail of the party! We’ve seen swags on backdrops, and hanging across any number of items, but I thought the placement of it on the branch was so creative and original.
  • More tree pedestals, nests, and moss create a lovely base for the cupcakes and pie pops.
  • Sweet printable papers by Jen & Karis bring everything together.

Other fabulous details in the bridal shower:

  • Chalkboard-painted silver tray sign.
  • An “advice for the bride” station.
  • A name tag tree near the entrance.
  • A gorgeous flower display inside a vintage suitcase {my 2nd favorite design element}.
  • A pretty table for guests to sit at, with pretty centerpiece vignette.

This bridal shower is full of amazing ideas for you to try out.  This would also be great for a Baby Shower or Spring Garden party too.
