Generous Donations:
- All the flash cards, invitations, box stickers, and place card circles were designed and donated by Kim at TomKat Studio. They were all ‘pear’fectly adorable!
- Adorable “baby” cupcake wrappers provided by Plates and Napkins.
- We had a fantastic photographer, Stephanie Beaty of Lifeography, offer her services for the day, as well as donate a photo package to one lucky mom! Check out her blog post and The Give Ten Project.
- Another great prize was a custom art piece donated by Inspired Design, which can be hung in the baby’s nursery.
- We had 120 red and green apples generously donated by Turkey Knobb Apples…the best apples grown right here in Virginia! These were used in the decor and then gathered by the guests in there eco-friendly bags, to take home. Great way to save the Earth and your budget!
- Delicious chocolate ganache covered cupcakes topped with white chocolate fruit pieces were another wonderful donation by one of our readers, Jenifer Helton. She also follows our Facebook page if you’d like to contact her for your own cake needs.

You all did an amazing job! LOVE it, especially the little circle tags on the stems and the diaper pin on the napkin rings. Adorable.
You did a great job with everything!!!
everything looks incredible-you did an AWESOME job!
Awwww, what a nice event for a great cause. And of course you WORKED it!
Fabulous work!
What a great way to donate your resources. Your cards were adorable! Beautiful, as usual!
Fabulous!!! You always do a wonderful job!!
The shower looks fabulous!! Love all the details and the centerpieces are so cool! I am new to your blog and simply love your style!!
I am on a mission to find ideas for a dinner for my husband to celebrate his promotion in the military – would you believe that I have spent literally HOURS searching and haven't found anything worth while?!
I think I have most of it pulled together at this point (it will be just him, our sons and a family friend present) but I having looked at your blog and your fabulous ideas I was wondering if you'd done anything like this? I didn't see a search bar on your blog, otherwise I would just have searched for it
Have a blessed day!
What a beautifully creative event! Thanks for sharing with us all! Great work for a great cause.
Just amazing! Everyone was so generous with their donations. You should be very proud!
Looks like it was a great event for a really great cause! Everything looks awesome! Good job. (like the unique "out of the box" centerpieces, too!)
Once again, a FANTASTIC job! Everything looks so beautiful. Did I miss something? I went to the O.S. website, and didn't see a listing of where they have been or their next "assignment". It just said bases across the country. I live near several, and as a military spouse, I would love to get involved if they are coming out my way.
Operation Shower has not announced their next group shower. They do, however, have a big fundraiser event planned for February in St. Louis…If anyone is interesting in donating for future OS events!!
