Barbie Inspired Birthday Party

Today’s feature party is every little girls dream…..except for my little girl. My daughter is not a “girly girl” so I have to live vicariously through you guys with all of your frilly and pink birthday parties you have for your daughters. This Barbie inspired party was sent in by Ashley of Cupcake Express, and was for her daughter’s 4th birthday {I would have died for this party as a kid as I LOVED playing with Barbie}. Ashley used an eye-catching color scheme of black and pink, coupled with silhouettes and pretty patterns to create a lovely dessert table and seated table for little guests.

Some of my favorite items from the treat table: DIY candy kabobs, the classic “Barbie” cake, and all the coordinating paper wrappers. Ashley is selling this printable collection in her shop too.

The seated table is just as adorable with it’s place settings and gabled boxes. I think the little flowers scattered around the table is a sweet touch without being overdone, and I am always a “fan” of fan embellishments {pun intended}.

The adorable birthday girl shows off her special outfit for the day and looks like one happy young lady.

Ashley created such a sweet party. Visit these vendors to help create your own Barbie birthday:

Printable Party collection & styling – Cupcake Express / Cupcake toppers – Two Sugar Babies / Editable cookie images – Queen of Tarts Wafers / Frosting sheets – Eye Candey / Gabled boxes, gumballs, paper fans – Polka Dot Market / Poms – Crazy 4 Tutus / Shirt – Illeana’s Bowtique / Silk flowers – Giggles n Bowz

LOVE THIS – plus, the combo of bright pink and black is one of my favorites!!!! Loving the silhouette of Barbie that’s used throughout.

The most important thing about parties & entertaining is the guest list! Next, it should be delicious, beautiful, unique, and fun. Calling on my years of experience, I’ll show you how to pull it all together with style. Cheers!
