Make Vanilla Nog Punch for the holidays. Add alcohol for the over 21 guests or serve it on the side. Get the recipe here.
I’m officially stressed out, you guys! It’s that time of year when I can’t even catch my breath and just as soon as I think I’m caught up, another email comes in with something I have to take care of. I’ll be so happy to get passed the next week or so and pay attention to my family again! I’ll be sharing one of the fun things I’m doing in the next couple of days so stay tuned.
Today I’ve got a quick and easy winter punch recipe as part of my partnership with International Delight. You may remember seeing it in my baby shower design shoot here. I used the new seasonal Vanilla Nog which tastes just like a milk shake! Seriously! So I’m sharing the recipe below and of course adding an “over 21” option as well. If you’re not a fan of classic eggnog don’t let that deter you from this. It really doesn’t taste like eggnog at all.
Vanilla Nog Punch
- 1 quart carton International Delight Vanilla Nog
- About 5 scoops vanilla bean ice cream
- 1/2 cup spiced rum, optional
Combine nog and rum together and mix well. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
Pour into a pitcher, add ice cream scoops, and serve.
Omit rum for the under 21 crowd.
TIP: Allow ice cream to begin to soften and melt into punch before serving. That way it will integrate into the drink and pour better.
Serve this for any of your upcoming holiday parties. It would be terrific for a cookie exchange or wrapping party. Cheers!
