Parisian Chic Dessert Table {Guest Feature}

Who doesn’t love a little Parisian style? It’s lends itself to all sorts of party designs for ages old and young. Emily of Emmy’s Events hosted this Petite Artiste French chic party for her daughter’s 2nd birthday. She chose a classic color palette of red, black, and white with a few iconic details, and a healthy dose of dots and stripes.

Here’s what Emily has to say about the party: “I wanted to do something chic but age appropriate for my daughter, Ivy Belle’s 2nd birthday so I decided on an art party with French flare!I made a complete printable collection featuring black and white stripes and an Eiffel tower accented with rainbow colored hearts. The dessert table delighted guests with American and French sweets… cupcakes, sugar cookies, chocolate dipped cake pops, scrumptious macarons, bon bons and my homemade croquembouche!

The kids loved coloring on a giant mural board together (think group graffiti!), doing spin art, making edible art (cookie decorating!) and having their faces painted by a real artiste.The party brought to life with giant bright red balloons, polka dot runners, tissue poms and whimsical items like the ferris wheel that I used to hold treats.

Kids took home stylish black and white striped swag bags filled with rainbow lollipops, rainbow heart stickers, packs of crayons and little notebooks that were cleverly fashioned out of paint chips! Oh la, la! It was a great party!”

    Felt like I was in Paris again. Wonderful display of colors and deserts. Any girl young and older would love this theme. Going to do this for my 60th birthday. Will save travel money and still feel like I am in Paris!

The most important thing about parties & entertaining is the guest list! Next, it should be delicious, beautiful, unique, and fun. Chris Nease shares her years of experience for how to pull it all together with style. Cheers!
