A Boo-rific Family Halloween Party {guest feature}

by Rebekah Dempsey

Halloween is right around the corner! I think it is hard sometimes to mix an adult party and still make it fun for kids but I am here to tell you it is possible and on a budget! Our Boo-rific Halloween table is modern yet down right classic with a traditional black and orange theme with mostly store bought baked goodies.

I started at the local grocery store and picked up some of my favorite pumpkins and gourds. Fairy tale pumpkins and Cinderella pumpkins are so much fun! Different shapes and sizes make for a very unique look. Tucked into them are custom popcorn cones made using our coordinating printable patterns for our party decor collection.

The kids are going to get lots of goodies when they are out so a simple dessert table is all you need.

The Oreo Cakesters took center stage laying on traditional candy corn candies.

Antique jello molds were the perfect way to serve our Green Goblin Goo!

I love to personalize as many details as possible and printable decorations lets you do that. These bottle wraps covered our orange soda and were used for water bottles too. Another great use for bottle wraps- use to wrap around napkins.

Our ghostly pails included these store bought cookies (yes I found that at the store! Hard to believe) and gumballs. Tied with an over-sized bow and our cute printable tag and they are complete.

These fabulous chocolate owl pops were the main attraction. Small enough for little mouths and the perfect chocolate stir stick for hot chocolate. FunFavors makes the most amazing lollis I have ever seen!

These fabulous birch lollipop stands were designed by Cross My Love. Custom pieces like these put a wow factor into your table. Mixed with some salted caramel cake pops from Starbucks, and little {or big} fingers just can’t stay away!

And tell me who doesn’t love red velvet cupcakes? These were also part of my fabulous grocery store purchase. Without much time to prepare a gorgeous spread, the local store will save you! Adorned with cupcake wrappers and toppers to match, they look like they came fresh out of your kitchen!

So with a few simple tricks (go shopping at the grocery store!) and some great pieces from your home, you can turn a fabulous spread into one your guests will keep talking about!

    Mmm I would love to stir a melting chocolate owl in some hot cocoa! I also love the unique gourds, the printed popcorn holders are a great modern twist!

The most important thing about parties & entertaining is the guest list! Next, it should be delicious, beautiful, unique, and fun. Calling on my years of experience, I’ll show you how to pull it all together with style. Cheers!
