Tea Party Centerpiece Ideas (using teacups)

Tea party centerpiece

Need an easy idea for a tea party centerpiece? Here’s a diy idea from Kelly Porter of Porter House Designs.

She uses simple teacups, adds some adhesive jewels to the design, and inserts roses in a minimalistic, modern way. Use floral foam that’s been soaked in water to hold the flowers in place.

Cover the floral foam with some moss and you have a lovely centerpiece for mother’s day, birthdays, and showers.

Tea cup candles

A row of tea cups and tea cup candles on candlesticks via green wedding shoes.

I’m drawn to the architectural lines of the candle sticks and the rustic plank board “runner” edged with delicate flowers.  The tea cups placed on top add whimsy and femininity.  Overall a really fabulous idea.
