Spring Baby Shower

Tori of Thoughtfully Simple recently created this baby shower in a beautiful Spring outdoor setting.  There are lots of great DIY tips here!  She used a color palette of orange and green…perfect for when you don’t know the sex of the baby!  I love how the centerpieces ran the length of the table, and are simply rectangle planter boxes with green moss, and orange gerbera daisies (these can be used in the garden afterward).

A great way to bring in color and keep cost down is by using scrapbook paper for place mats & napkin rings.  And using the clear plates helps the color shine through!  Each setting also had a wonderful little hemp bag filled with wildflower seeds.  Custom tags and labels were made for the favors and water bottles.  Easy to do on your home printer!

Finally, a “wishing tree” was set up for everyone to write a sweet wish for mom and baby.  Another easy idea using branches from your back yard.  Don’t forget the cute detail of birdies and nest!

This shower is simple and chic, and would work well for a Bridal luncheon/shower also.  Thank you for all the great ideas, Tori!
