Published In Yum Food & Fun For Kids – Summer 2012

I seriously can’t believe it’s almost Summer. I swear it seems like Christmas was just last month! Oh well, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that my “biological calendar” is out of whack since I’ve been shooting Christmas parties in July, and Summer parties in February. It’s all part of this amazing job though, and I’m so grateful for it!

Speaking of off-season photo shoots, my latest contribution for Yum Food & Fun for Kids is on news stands now. The Summer issue is filled with ideas for a beach party, 4th of July, and my own “End of School Ice Cream Party.” The funny thing about this is that while we were in the midst of an atypical warm and sunny winter, the day of our shoot turned out to be a cloudy, 45 degree day. Good for keeping ice cream from melting….not so good for kids in shorts & short sleeves!

Here’s a sneak peek of the article plus a big Thank You to Confetti Sunshine for providing Push Pop containers for the party.  Make sure to pick up an issue for yourself!
