Harvest Inspired Entertaining {guest feature}

by Aleah and Nick

Get togethers, whether with a group of friends to mark a special celebration or an impromptu dinner for two, should be special and memorable. As we prepare to say farewell to the long warm days of summer, we look forward to celebrating and entertaining in an effortless fashion with a more rustic and cozier spin.

We’re constantly looking to our surroundings when we’re entertaining and planning client events as often times inspiration just leaps out at you. Today it’s all about sharing ideas plucked from Aleah’s parents’ island garden {it’s spectacular and brimming with goodness} to create your own harvest-inspired get together.

You needn’t go overboard when planning a harvest themed party. Look to your pantry or linen closet for props to start.

  • Use wire market baskets {ours are from Sur La Table} and pluck fresh fruits and veggies from your garden.
  • Pair the bounty with canning jars as glassware and snip a few flowers from the yard and you’ve created a charming {and oh-so simple} harvest ambiance.
  • If you’re entertaining a number of guests send them home with their own baskets of fruits and veggies or hand tied bouquets of fresh flowers.

Are you longing to savor summer or eager to welcome a cozier season?
