I hope you’re in the mood for fun party because I’ve got a Halloween Gothic Glam ladies night with funky style. My latest contribution for Celebrations is full of ideas from table decor, to an appetizer I like to call “flesh & bones” for the occasion, a Black Widow cocktail, a Halloween “coffin” cake, and clever white chocolate skeleton favors, all inspired by the skull & bones invitation from Pear Tree Greetings. I even decorated the wall with these spooky Halloween framed silhouettes {a free download}.

Check out the photos and links below, for all the ideas so you can host your own “Ghouls” gathering!

Halloween Gothic Glam Ladies Night details

  • Wrap books in dark, moody paper and stack them for part of your centerpiece. Embellish the spines of the book with skeleton stickers or adhesive letters to spell out a title or author.
  • A black candelabra is the perfect mood maker for this Halloween tablescape. I found this at Michael’s.
  • Place a small skull under a glass cloche, and embellish the eye sockets with adhesive gemstones. Instant Gothic-glam!
  • More embellishments from the craft isle: gemstone spider web attached to the side of martini glasses; gemstone spiders attached to the glass cloche; and as previously mentioned, added to book spines.
  • Cute DIY place cards are made with decorative paper, a spooky font, and more adhesive gemstones from the craft isle.
  • These “flesh & bones” appetizers are super simple but oh so tasty. Spread softened cream cheese onto a piece of deli ham and place a pickle spear on top; roll the ham around the pickled spear and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  • Serve up this delicious black magic cocktail, and a spooky Halloween coffin cake dessert.
  • Send guests home with these adorable coffin favors. You can find skeleton candy molds, which I filled with white chocolate. Once set, I placed the skeleton on a bed of colorful candies that match our color scheme. These coffin boxes were found at the craft store.

I hope you have a fun and festive Halloween with your best gal pals, using these ideas. Cheers!
