Creative Pool Party Ideas {Guest Feature}

pool party by Lavender Pudding

I have the most creative & crafty pool party to share with you today, sent to us by Montrilla of Lavender Pudding. Just wait until you see the “shower” and the “pool” cupcake display!

Montrilla created this party for a brother and sister who were celebrating their birthdays together, and “Fun in the Sun” was the order of the day. The colors are bright and festive, with lots of themed treats. A highlight of the details is below.

Creative Touches we Love:

  • Blue jello cups with “beach balls” floating inside.
  • Twizzlers as “pool noodles.”
  • Beach balls {painted foam balls} placed inside glass vase risers.
  • Life Saver “inner tubes.”
  • I’m obsesses with the DIY pool shower!!
  • A custom cutout “pool” cupcake display {I have no idea how she pulled this one off}.
  • Hanging “bunting” made from cut pool noodles {She wanted to emulate Olympic pool lane dividers}.
  • Adorable custom terrycloth bags to carry treats home in.
  • Unique table centerpieces with “beach ball” and “beach towel” table toppers.

I’m impressed with Montrilla’s creativity and ingenuity here, and most of these ideas can be recreated by you too. What’s your favorite part?
