Cocktails For St. Patrick’s Day!
Are you planning to “get your Irish on” for St. Patrick’s day? Here are 2 green cocktails to get you started and into the spirit of the Emerald Isle. Here is a fabulous green “tini” recipe that is not apple flavored. It is published by the name of Jade, but I think I would call it “The Emerald” for St. Patty’s reference.
The Emerald Cocktail
2 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz midori
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
place in ice filled shaker and shake for ten seconds. pour into martini glass
I see tons of recipes for St. Patricks day with midori…what does it taste like?
Yummo. That does sound delicious.
MsKate, You Naughty Girl! LOL ; )
I like the idea of anything mixed with champagne-except Goldschlager. I remember thinking I was cool in high school and sneaking it from my parents liqour cabinet! I haven’t been able to drink the stuff since!!
Thanks for all the comments this week Dollface! I have been in and out all week and crazy busy but I just wanted to touch base: Yes, those were cheerios in the bucket; and I’m glad you enjoyed the caprese skewers…delish!
I love the St. Patrick’s tini! I went to Hoboken last weekend for green beer drinking. Super fun!! xoxo
