cherry cocktail recipe in a pitcher

Several months ago I found these cute candy cherries and ever since then I knew I wanted to make a cherry flavored cocktail. I decided the red color in this drink recipe would look right at home in my shrimp boil party. Of course it would also be right at home in a 4th of July party as well.

I created this cherry cocktail recipe to serve adults, but you can also serve the kids if you eliminate the vodka. Mix it up in a pitcher and serve it up at your next summer party. See the recipe below.

This cherry mocktail if a delicious pitcher drink for summer parties!

Cherry Cocktail Recipe

  • 46 ounce Cherry Berry Juice, chilled {I used V8 Black Cherry Berry Refreshers}
  • 1 cup Sour Mix, chilled
  • 16 ounces Sprite, chilled
  • 1 cup Vodka {optional}, chilled

In a pitcher combine cherry juice and sour mix. If you’re serving adults add the vodka.

Add Sprite just before serving.

Garnish with cherry stem candies, or fresh cherries.

  1. Looks wonderful. My husband usually doesn’t like fruity drinks, but loves anything cherry, so I am wondering if he will like this. The cherry candies are adorable, I have never seen these. Where did you find them?

    1. Chloe, I found the candy cherries at TJMaxx. I think HomeGoods and Marshall’s probably has them too.
