Art Prints and Watercolors :: Vendor Spotlight

You all know I’ve had a long and fruitful relationship with Kori {formerly Paper & Pigtails}.  She’s designed countless logos, printables, and business cards for me, and I’m blessed to call her a friend as well as a colleague. So today I wanted to take a moment to spotlight some of her latest work, and introduce you to her if you’re not familiar.

I hope you’ve noticed some of the artwork in my room tours, specifically the illustrations/water colors that I’ve displayed throughout. These have all been hand drawn and then painted with water colors to give them a beautiful one-of-a-kind look. Kori has rolled her previous business into Kori Clark Designs and now offers a unique, artful, product for the home as well as parties.

Kori Clark Designs for CAHart wall

  • This is my favorite, above – a drawing/water color picture of our house, complete with our family name and “establish” date. Kori started doing these before Christmas and posted on Instagram. I knew immediately that I needed to have one! I hung it right in the center of this wall collage in the sitting room.

She can turn your home into a framed work of art like this, or make note cards, or other small items. All I had to do was snap a photo with my phone and send it to her to go by. It’s so personal, and if you take pride in your home like I do, you will love it. A perfect gift too, for those hard to buy for in-laws!

Kori Clark Designs print

  • The first KCD art print I got was this one above. The simple wording and minimal graphic look so pretty framed and sitting on a shelf. It adds just a touch of color where you need it!

  • A smaller version of the art print {5 x 7} sits in my front sitting room on a mirrored console. Propped up with a vintage floral frog, it looks even more important placed under a glass cloche. Again, the simplicity of the design fits into my retro-modern style, as well as a traditional or more contemporary setting. It also layers nicely with the more colorful print behind it.

These are just a few of the new illustrations offered by Kori Clark Designs, and I’m thrilled to have them as part of my decor. I hope you’ll visit KCD to see even more of her work.

Have a great day!
