4 Favorite DIY Projects For New Years Eve {Or Any Party}

There is nothing like a great festive New Years Eve party, I think. Ringing in the new year with friends or family is such a cultural ritual and a great way to say goodbye to the old, and hello to the future. As I’ve been on the web these last few weeks I’ve saved some of my favorite ideas and am sharing them with you. These are all DIY projects you can do for other parties throughout the year too just by changing a color or small detail!  Follow each link for full tutorials.

Jordan of Oh Happy Day created the most AMAZING sequin backdrop using large gold pailletes. This is easy but will take some time to complete as you pin each one on row by row. It is a stunning background for photos, or a cocktail or dessert bar.

These gold “dipped” stem glasses are another incredible idea that is super easy to do. Created by Liz for Momtastic these glasses would brighten up any party.

Next up is this fantastic “balloon ceiling” effect by Debbie of Wants and Wishes. This is so easy and festive and works well for adult parties as well as kids parties.

Finally, these cute confetti boxes made from match boxes is a fun way to celebrate the stroke of midnight. Designed by Carolyn of Carolyn’s Homework, they are completely adorable.

Now it’s time to get your craft on and make something special for your New Years party {or other upcoming party}. Which project is your favorite?
