15 Recipes Using Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

Check out Summer's Bounty :: Recipes with Fresh Fruit & Veggies

by Chris Nease at Foodie.com

I may have mentioned this before, but growing up in the South on farm land made for the best kind of childhood. We ran through fields, hiked through the woods, climbed trees, and jumped through lawn sprinklers. And in the summer we had the BEST produce to eat, fresh from the garden. Some of my favorites were tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, and even squash.

I decided to put together a group of recipes that’s inspired by my childhood memories of fresh fruit and vegetables. Using the Foodie.com platform I gathered 15 recipes that incorporate peaches, watermelon, berries, tomatoes, corn, etc. I’ve included side dishes, salsas, and desserts and I hope you’ll give some of them a try this summer while the produce is at its freshest and most flavorful.

Just visit the collection to find a recipe that looks good to you. Let me know what YOUR favorite summer produce is too!
