IDEAS FOR HOLIDAY GIFT GIVING

gifts for the holidays

‘Tis the season for shopping and gift giving! Have you started yours yet? I’ve pulled some of my favorite items from The Grommet to help you with this task. I’ve talked about The Grommet before – they’re a resource that loves to promote new businesses and products and they’re the first place you’ll see many items {the items may be sold elsewhere, but The Grommet does a great job of getting exposure to them}.  They want you to Give Differently this year by supporting these small businesses and artisans.

I’m focusing on 4 categories for holiday gifts today: girls, guys, gourmet, and home. Here are some things I’d love to find under the tree this year!

girls

Gifts for the Girls:

Whether they’re teenagers or adults, girls like pretty and fashionable things.

  • Infinity Scarf - These come in several colors, are handmade, and are all kinds of popular.
  • Initial Necklace – Cary Bradshaw made these popular over 10 years ago and they’re still going strong. These are delicate and lovely for gals of all ages.
  • Mesh Cuff Bracelet – I’m a huge fan of cuff bracelets. They make a statement without dangling around and making noise! This mesh one is super cool and edgy.

guys

Gifts for the Guys:

Admittedly these aren’t’ JUST for the guys. I love them too!

  • Beer Chiller – Move over wine chillers, now there’s a beer chiller too!
  • Leather Jar/Glass Holdster – These are so cool. As a party stylist, I would LOVE to have a set of these for all those mason jars. The leather & stitch detail are very manly too!
  • Cupa Rocks Glasses – My husband has become a scotch sipper in the last year and I know he would enjoy a set of these glasses. Their shape is so unique! They’re also great for wine or highballs.

GOURMET

Gifts for the Gourmet:

This may be my favorite category – food!

  • 3-Pack Gourmet Cookies – There are 9 flavors to choose from and vary from sweet to savory. Enjoy them with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
  • Gourmet Hot Chocolate Pops – Every year we see these pops on hot cocoa bars {in blog land} and you can get them too, right here!
  • Microwave Cake in a Cup – These are the perfect indulgence when you don’t have a lot of time or you don’t want to make a full size dessert.

home

Gifts for the Home:

This is right up my ally since I’m decorating our new house.

  • Laser Cut Map Art – I love the bold pop of color in this 3-D style map art. Add it to a wall collage or lean it against the wall on a bookshelf or mantle.
  • Rollors Lawn Game – Introduce family and friends to a new outdoor game. Rollors combines the fun of horseshoes, bocce, and bowling, and can be played by ages 4 and up.
  • Black & White Map Art – Yes, I chose another map. These are incredibly popular in home decor now! I love the basic black and white combo here, and you can choose from 35 American cities.

You can PIN these ideas for shopping later.
