Unicorn Themed Birthday Party {Guest Feature}

I remember when my daughter was little and she loved unicorns and Pegasus’, so I can’t help but think she would have loved this party designed by Emily of Emmy’s Events. This party is very “DIY” with printables, sweets from the market, and a few crafty embellishments with paper doilies.

Emily was inspired by a Lilly Pullitzer print and carried the pink and aqua colors throughout the party table. See the details below…

From Emily: “My little Ivy dreamed of a pink unicorn party for her 3rd birthday. I found inspiration in the floral prints of the late great Lily Pulitzer, using a bright swirling paisley for the table runners and a large scale floral print for the party printables. Frothy aqua, pale pink, and pops of hot pink combined to make the party oh so stylish and age appropriate.

White French paper doilies were used throughout the party to line trays of “Unicorn Horns”, wrap cookies, embellish cupcake toppers, and made into garlands that filled the air.

Repeating the ruffled look on the cake and cupcakes helped give the party a soft feminine look perfect for girly-girls!  Little party guests were delighted with my homemade sweet treats like “Whimsy Pops” (cake pops) and “Magical Marshmallows”!

Two glorious princesses were on hand to paint faces, read stories and play everyone’s favorite game “Pin the Horn On the Unicorn”! Guests took home ribbon and lace halos, mini fans, magic wands, twisted lollipops and gorgeous unicorn charm bracelets. It was a truly a magical party!”
