Host A Green Infused Party

green entertaining

I know “green” entertaining has taken a whole new meaning in the past several years, but I’m taking it old school today, and literally talking about green entertaining!  Setting up for a casual dinner with friends is never easier than when you start with one specific color and work around it.

Green is the color of nature, and with a couple of neutrals thrown in, like brown and white, it really pops.  Everything I’ve chosen feels warm and earthy, yet modern too.  This is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.

Start with your favorite bottle of wine and top it with an inexpensive topper that matches the theme of the night.  A wooden platter is a great piece to serve appetizers on – think cheese or canapes.  Place these items on a portable tray table that’s easy for guests to get to.

Set the main dining table with rattan chargers and white plates, green and white striped napkins, and some fabulous green tumblers {these are what inspired this board, as a matter of fact}.  A sexy green vase can grace the sideboard which holds a buffet of food, and a gorgeous glass pitcher of water.

And as always, the hostess should look picture perfect in a comfy white dress that just screams fun!

Are you ready to “go green” in a new{old} way?  Find all the resources and links here, and please PIN this board for later if you like.  Have a great day!
