Mixed Berry Daiquiri Smoothie

It feels like we’ve just been hit with the official summer heat and humidity here in Virginia, which means it’s time to break out the ice cold cocktails. I teamed up with Bacardi to try the new Light Strawberry Daiquiri drink and create something perfect for summer entertaining. Even though it’s great {and only 95 calories per serving} right out of the bottle, I always like to turn things up a notch so I created this mixed berry daiquiri that remains light, but is more of a smoothie drink.

By starting with Bacardi Light Strawberry Daiquiri you already have Bacardi Rum incorporated, as well as natural flavors.  Just pull out the blender {a symbol of summer around here} and add a couple more ingredients for this yummy recipe.

Mixed Berry Daiquiri

  • 1 1/2 cups Bacardi Strawberry Light Daiquiri
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 4 scoops Raspberry Sherbet

Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse to combine. Continue blending until blueberries are macerated.

Pour into glasses, and top with whipped cream. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.

Makes 3 drinks.

Serve these up for any last minute get togethers, or large parties and as always, drink responsibly.
