7 Creative Ideas For Balloons

7 creative ideas with balloons

For years I’ve had a love-hate relationship with balloons. I think it’s because they’ve been the fall back party decoration that people {who don’t read party blogs *wink*} use when they don’t know what else to do. I’ve often said that displaying them en masse is a GOOD way to use balloons. Alternatively, using 1 single balloon in a smartly chosen location can also be attractive {see how I added them to place settings here}. The idea is to integrate balloons purposefully so they look like a chic decorative element instead of haphazardly placed around the room.

Another trend in balloons now is to trick them out with confetti, paint, and markers. I’ve found some seriously creative gals who have made the most of balloons, and most of them have a tutorial to show you how to do it too….

  1. Color blocked balloons by A Subtle Revelry.
  2. Write a note on balloons by The Indigo Bunting.
  3. Confetti filled balloons by Kojo Designs.
  4. Gold lettered balloons by Bash Please {seen on 100 Layer Cake}.
  5. Another confetti balloon with lettering by Real Simple.
  6. Paint splattered balloons by Studio DIY.
  7. Polka dot painted balloons by A Subtle Revelry.

Are you ready to take balloons to the next level?  Which idea is your favorite?
