21st Birthday Party (Chanel Theme)

Chanel themed birthday party

For you fashionistas out there I have a fun guest feature for you today. This Chanel themed 21st birthday was designed by Valencia of Oh Honey Events & Invitations, and it caught my eye because of it’s originality, the SEQUINS, and the way she incorporated the classic quilt pattern {and pearls} into her backdrop. There are many cute details to see and inspire you. Check out the photos and description from Valencia, below….

Here’s what Valencia has to say: “We had a Chanel Themed 21st birthday for my sister – she’s a fashion fanatic and loves Chanel! We had a sit down dinner, small and intimate with about 15 people.

The colors were classic Chanel – black and white with accents of gold & pink. The sequin table cloth is probably my favorite element. It gives a feel of fashion. Those delicious purse cookies were created by my very talented cookie crush Jacqueline from Curlyz Cookies!  They were a hit like ALWAYS! We love the design she did with the quilted pattern! It was just absolutely amazing!

The pink striped paper straws make the table less serious, and they add a playful element to the table design. The bronze candle holders add a touch of sophistication. We chose to put the different shades of pink roses in white vases. The table cloth was so dark we just had to lighten it up with white vases, white menus, white plates, cookies & boxes.

We did quite a bit of research on Coco Chanel for this party. We found several pictures with her layered in black with pearls which is our favorite look. We layered the black chair covers with black slashes. We then added pearl beads to each chair to add some glamor.

The cake not only looked good, it tasted even better. We didn’t want to cut it. That’s just how good it looked. A family friend baked it. The cupcakes by Sweet and Eats were heavenly! They melt in your mouth. The bow just adds to sweetness of this table!

The back drop was a hit. We found the quilt fabric at a fabric store. The table is pretty girly, and We added to it by adding the pearls.

We also made these sweet notes cards for people to leave comments to Cassie. On the notes, they had a different famous quote by Chanel on them! This party was so fun to style.”
