Inspired By This – DIY Block Name Plates

Before I talk about this weeks “Pinspiration,” I just want to tell you how touched I was by the response to my personal ramblings on Friday’s post. Some of the comments literally brought a tear to my eye, and I’m still trying to respond to every one either through the comments section, or via email. A special thanks to those of you who admit you read quietly and never respond {but were moved to do so}. One of the personal realizations I came to last year is that everyone just wants to “matter” in life….and you guys certainly made me feel like what I do here matters, so THANK YOU!

Now to share one of my favorite finds on Pinterest last week – these DIY name plate blocks from Shanty 2 Chic. The post shows a step by step process to make these shabby chic blocks which can be used as food markers, place card holders, or to decorate a shelf with a cute phrase.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to try something similar in the future. How about you?

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
