Happy Thanksgiving + What’s Coming For Christmas!

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, and leave you with a few things as I’ll be taking a couple of days off of blogging to enjoy my own family time.

  • First of all, I’m so thankful for the growth and success of this blog and the amazing contributors who share their talents with us. I’m thankful for the wonderful sponsors who choose to work with us, and I hope you will show them some love – they {and you} make it possible for me to have my dream job! I’m thankful for all the readers who visit daily or even just once in a while as they’re looking for a specific idea. And obviously I’m thankful for my family who puts up with this crazy lifestyle of photo shoots, erratic hours, and props hiding in every corner. I’d also LOVE for you to leave a comment and tell me what you’re thankful for.
  • If you have a few minutes between cooking and eating in the next 2-3 days, you can read my latest article for HomeMade Simple. It’s all about hosting a Pie Party, with lots of tips and ideas. A pie party would be such a fun way to help ring in the Christmas season too!
  • Also, I’ve been crazy busy the last couple of weeks working on projects for Christmas. Next week I’ll kick off the season with a full week dedicated to holiday entertaining through projects I’ve done with Urbanity Studios, Pier 1, and Pottery Barn. I can’t wait! Here’s a sneak peek at one of the projects – it’s 1 holiday party done in 3 different color schemes & styles.

  • One last thing – Mark your calendars for next Tuesday {Nov. 27 @ 9pm EST} for another seasonal Pinterest Party.  The theme is Christmas Party ideas for Kids, and it will be LOADED with inspiring ideas.  Read this post to find out how the Pinning party works.

I can’t wait to see you back here next week. Have a great Thanksgiving!
